Through our time running Regatta Point, we’ve heard stories from parents telling us that their kids...
are eager to get to the boathouses and learn a new skill (even if they didn't enjoy learning before)
tell their family about the new adventures they've had in the water, their eyes gleaming with excitement
go to bed early and wake up early (often without their parents asking them to)
happily leave their cellphones and gaming consoles behind, at least for a period of time, to interact with other kids and appreciate nature.
feel more confident, energized, and strong.

Regatta Point’s Youth Rowing Clinics are designed for motivated middle and high school athletes who want to train seriously, improve their skills, and get measurably better on the water. Hosted on Lake Quinsigamond, these week-long, coach-led clinics focus on technique, fitness, and rowing IQ—ideal for athletes preparing for the fall season or looking to take their rowing to the next level.
This is not a drop-in camp. Athletes will be challenged, coached, and pushed to improve through structured practices in both individual and team shells, with an emphasis on accountability, effort, and progression.
This summer we’re offering three focused clinic tracks:
• Learn to Row – For athletes new to rowing who want a strong technical foundation
• Skills Development – For experienced rowers building consistency, efficiency. and confidence.
• Advanced Training – For high-level athletes preparing for their school competitive fall programs.
To support overall athletic development, clinics may also include land sessions using the Concept2 ergometer. These focus on mastering key stroke components, body positions and optimal posture.
These clinics are best suited for athletes who want to work hard, learn fast, and leave stronger than they arrived.
